Dental camp

A dental camp was held at the Apanga-kalyankari Sanstha, Wanowarie on 6th of Oct, 2012 by the Dept. of community medicine & medical cadets of Prayas, AFMC to screen children for dental problems. A total of 210 school children were examined, out of which 70 were found to have some dental problem. These 70 children will further be examined at Command Hospital, Pune.

The school children at Apanga-kalyankari Sanstha were given advice about oral hygiene and good dental practices. Also it was a good opportunity for the medical cadets to gain some hand-on experience at the dental camp.
