"15 Feb 2013: Members of Prayas Club AFMC on behalf of Zedd presented a cheque for Rs 78000 to sponsor two children of SOS Childrens Village Pune for five years. And in addition a cheque for Rs 5000 towards a general donation to the same establishment was handed over. "

We are very happy to announce that our beloved Sahoo sir got married on 14th of feb this year. He had been a prominent figure in the growth of Prayas. Even after graduating from the college he is still supporting us in many ways. We wish him a happy married life. Good luck sir !

Blood Donation Campaign

             BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

The gift of blood is the gift of life. There is no substitute 

for human blood.

Prayas club organised a blood donation campaign during 

SILLHOUTTES 2013 from 14 feb 2013 to 16 feb 2013.

50 medical cadets and outsider donated there blood.

also the HOD of Dept. of community medicine Air Cmde A 

Mahen and the officer in charge of the PRAYAS Col M P 

Carriappa also donated thier blood and inspired the budding 

doctors and appreciated their efforts.

Street play for cancer awareness

 

This 'nukkad natak' was beautifully performed by a team of Prayas Club members at the 'Walk Beyond Cancer' about which you have read earlier. The enthusiasm and energy of the team is certainly beyond comparison. We wish that in future they will keep up this good work and high spirits. Well done !

A Walk Beyond Cancer

 On Sunday, 3rd February 2013, 44 members of Prayas Club, AFMC participated in the 'Cancer Walk' at FC Road, Pune.
A street play was also performed by the Prayas Members.

 The purpose of this walk was to make people aware about Cancer, to motivate those who are fighting against it and to show our support against it.

Prayas club on behalf of all its members wishes Flt. Lt. Jyoti Prakash Mishra heartiest congratulations on his marriage. Flt. Lt. Jyoti Prakash Mishra was the ex-secretory of Prayas from S-2 batch.
